By Ernie Padaon
Walking Dead actress Emily Kinney admitted that she has not followed along with the show and didn’t see her own death scene.
The shocking death of Beth Greene on The Walking Dead had all the fans of the show buzzing. It was one of the most talked about deaths on the show. Actress Emily Kinney was asked if she had kept up with the show since her departure and she revealed that she didn’t follow along any longer and that she still has not even seen the death of her character.

“I stopped watching,” Emily told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the 2015 Shorty Awards on April 20 in New York City. “I didn’t see my death, because I had my own experience, and I didn’t want to change what my experience of it was because it was so special to me.”
She was also asked about the feedback from all the fans to her death:
“For me it was very moving, it was satisfying in a certain way. I was sad that everyone felt so sad but I also felt sort of satisfied, like the people in the end ended up feeling really connected to that, and they were going to miss her,” Emily explained. “If you’ve given 3 to 4 years of your life to a show, it’s nice to feel like oh, I’m leaving, and people feel connected to this thing you made, or helped make. So I just feel really thankful.”
It is crazy that Kinney wouldn’t watch her final episode on the show. I feel that I would follow along to at least see how everything turned out. Instead Kinney turned away and had not been following along with the show since. She did admit that she did see the Season 5 finale because Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride were going to be on the Talking dead.
