Who is Georgie in The Walking Dead series?

The Walking Dead series concluded after its 11-season run at the end of 2022. As the storylines closed, many characters never made another appearance in the series. One who comes to mind is Georgie, who viewers met in season eight.
Georgie, played by Jayne Atkinson, appeared in the eighth season episode “The Key.” She and her bodyguards, the twins Hilda (Kim Ormiston) and Midge (Misty Ormiston) approach Hilltop, propose, and barter supplies for information. Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Rosita (Christian Serratos), and Enid (Katelyn Nacon) met them at the specified spot but took them captive instead. Upon seeing the condition of Hilltop, Georgie changed the proposal and gave them some food and a book she had written to help rebuild communities.
Her Key to the Future is a document comprised of handwritten plans for many items to rebuild a community. A book of medieval human achievements from the past that can be useful in rebuilding a future. After seeing firsthand the condition of Hilltop, Georgie saw they were in dire straights and needed something to help build back up.

What happened to Georgie on The Walking Dead?
Georgie corresponded with Maggie for over a year and a half, trying to convince her to join their group and help them build up other communities. Eventually, Maggie decides to take Hershel and help Georgie and the others with their efforts.
When Maggie returns to Alexandria, she explains to Daryl that Georgie and the twins left to seek out other communities out west. That is the last she ever heard of Georgie, and she has no idea if they survived.
This is one of the loose ends that it would be really nice to know more about.
Will Georgia return in a Walking Dead spinoff series?
With several spinoffs set to release in 2023 and 2024, could viewers see the reappearance of Georgie? Dead City will see Maggie and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) travel to Manhattan and Michonne (Danai Gurira) has been searching for years for Rick (Andrew Lincoln), who knows where her travels have taken her. Perhaps Georgie will return in one of these new series to shed light on where she disappeared to.
