This week’s Walking Dead universe news (May 13, 2022)

Once again, The Walking Dead universe was quite busy with news of cast members with new roles and many other items. Fear the Walking Dead will be new this Sunday and there is filming news for season 8.

AMC will premiere the Fear the Walking Dead episode “The Raft” on Sunday, May 15 at 9 p.m. ET. This episode is currently available on AMC+, and on Sunday, AMC+ will release the next episode, “Divine Providence.”

“The Raft” follows Alicia and Morgan as they plan the next steps towards taking the Tower. With baby Mo safely removed, the battle can move forward. Dwight and Sherry will also be featured in this week’s episode as they take care of Mo and choose between their code and safety.

• Christian Serratos, who plays Rosita on TWD, will star in an upcoming episode of Love, Death and Robots on Netflix.
• Rainn Wilson pitches a fun Office/Walking Dead mashup idea.
• Production Weekly has reported that Fear the Walking Dead will begin filming season 8 in June in Savannah, Georgia.
• Josh Mikel, who played the Savior named Jared on TWD, will be starring in several new projects, Brothers, Unhuman, Renfield, Rectitude, Lilly and Manhunt. 
• Be sure to check out Madison Lintz, who played Sophia on TWD, in the new series Bosch: Legacy on Amazon Freevee.
• Cullen Moss is starring in the HBO Max series, The Staircase. He is known for playing Officer Gorman on TWD.
• The annual The Camp event will be held in Peachtree City, Georgia, in two weeks. This event hosts many Walking Dead celebrities and more.
• Angus Sampson, who played Ozzy, one of the Highwaymen on TWD, stars in the Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer.
