This week’s Walking Dead universe news (May 20, 2022)

The weekend is here, and we have The Walking Dead universe news. There is much more news about TWDU actors being cast in new roles, and Fear the Walking Dead will air a new episode on AMC on Sunday.
AMC will premiere the Fear the Walking Dead episode “Divine Providence” on Sunday, May 22 at 9 p.m. ET. This episode is currently available on AMC+, and on Sunday, AMC+ will release the next episode, “Amina.”
“Divine Providence” will see Alicia bring the war for the Tower to Strand’s doorstep. The teaser for this episode shows Alicia’s arrival with her army. We also see Wes survived the bunker and is back at his post as Strand’s new right-hand man.
The Walking Dead news
- Sydney Park, Cyndie on TWD, stars in a new movie titled First Love.
- Director and SFX master Greg Nicotero will play a walker one final time on TWD series.
- Norman Reedus is known for taking items from the set to add to his collection. Find out what he took on the final day of filming.
- Michael James Shaw, Mercer on TWD, stars in Blood and Treasure.
- TWD’s Toby Carlson, Jason Butler Harner, will star in Rabbit Hole, a movie that also stars Keifer Sutherland.
- Did you catch the trailer for the new She-Hulk trailer? Did you catch a glimpse of TWD’s Steve Coulter? He will star in the Disney+ series.
- Micheal Rooker was featured front and center in the trailer for the movie White Elephant that he stars in with Bruce Willis.
- Lauren Ridloff had two exciting pieces of news this week. Firstly congratulations are in order as she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Human Letters from Gallaudet University. Then later in the week, it was announced that she would executive produce and star in a yet-to-be-named romantic drama on Starz.
- Eleanor Matsuura and her family welcomed a new bundle of joy this week. You can see her announcement via Instagram.
- Fear TWD’s Sydney Lemmon (Isabelle) and Michael Greyeyes (Qaletaqa Walker) star in the reboot of Stephen King’s Firestarter that is available in theaters and on Peacock.
- Chandler Riggs attended Motor City Comic Con and gave an update on what he has been up to.
- Talking Dead takes a hiatus until the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead, which airs on June 5. That night the special guests will be Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Executive Producer, Andrew Chambliss.
