This week AMC will air The Walking Dead, episode 21, titled “Outpost 22.” This episode marks the halfway point in season 11, part 3, making the reality of the final episode set in. On November 20, 2022, the last episode remaining of the series will air simultaneously on AMC and AMC+ with much fanfare and celebration.

The most recent episode, “What’s Been Lost,” was another great one with a highlight on Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) doing what they do best. They discover that the other survivors in their group, except for Yumiko (Eleanore Matsuura) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt), who is in jail, have been forcibly removed from the Commonwealth.

They can only find them by seeking assistance from the man “who knows all the dark s**t that goes on,” Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton). Viewers also learn that the Commonwealth has a functioning train, which is quite interesting as many have speculated that Hornsby works with or for the CRM (Civic Republic Military).

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 30.
