Fans of the long-running apocalyptic series The Walking Dead have been introduced to many actors throughout the twelve-year run. Add to that, many others have been added to TWD Family by way of the spinoff series. Fans have found favorites among this massive group of talented actors and love to see them in new movies and/or shows, and Netflix has several of these in its catalog of titles.
Below we have compiled a list of all of the shows and movies on Netflix that star one or sometimes more actors who have starred in one of the series within The Walking Dead universe. This list is updated frequently to add new titles or take away the ones that leave Netflix.

Netflix movies and shows starring Walking Dead universe actors
Beef – Steven Yeun – Netflix Original
One of the newest releases on the streamer stars Steven Yeun who played Glenn on TWD. Beef is a series that sees Yeun and Ali Wong as the leads in a road rage incident that escalates into something much more significant for both of them. It is a dark comedy that is also very moving. Don’t miss this one!

Minari – Steven Yeun
The film for which Yeun became the first Asian American nominated for an Oscar in the Lead Actor Category. The film has received nothing but praise and is the semi-autobiographical story of the director Lee Isaac Chung’s family story.
There’s Someone Inside Your House – Sydney Park
The Netflix original horror film stars Walking Dead actress Sydney Park. This film focuses on a killer who is targeting seniors at Osborne High School. The killer dons a mask of this victim while killing them and reveals their darkest secret. The only hope of stopping the murders is a group of misfits.
Parks also stars in: Moxie and voice work in Dreamworks Spirit series of features on the streamer.
The Out-Laws – Michael Rooker
The action comedy The Out-Laws is a feel-good movie that follows a bank manager who believes his future in-laws may be infamous bank robbers. Rooker plays an FBI agent.
Rooker also stars as a voice a character in Vivo.
The Night Agent – Robert Patrick – Netflix Original
Robert Patrick stars in two episodes of the Netflix original The Night Agent. This series follows an FBI agent who becomes embroiled in a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House.
Patrick also stars in: Endless Love, The Laundromat, Cop Land, Spy Kids, Safe House (leaving Netflix soon), and Identity Thief.
Ozark – Netflix original
The four-season series Ozark follows the story of the Byrd family, who leave their cushy lives in Chicago to launder money for ta Mexican cartel in the Ozarks. Things don’t go as originally planned, requiring the entire Byrd family to become heavily involved in criminal activity. There is a large list of Walking Dead universe actors who have had roles in Ozark, including Cassady McClincy and Josh Mikel. We have the entire list here.
Penguin Bloom – Andrew Lincoln – Netflix Original
Based on a true story, this film follows a family whose lives are greatly altered after the mother suffered a life-altering accident. She finally finds inspiration from an unlikely source, an injured magpie that her family takes in.

The Unforgivable – Jon Bernthal – Netflix Original
Bernthal stars with Sandra Bullock in this emotional drama of a woman released from prison after serving time for a murder conviction. As she tries to piece her life back together, she searches for the little sister she was forced to leave behind.

Holiday Rush – Sonequa Martin-Green – Netflix Original
Martin-Green plays radio producer Roxy Richardson in this Christmas rom-com alongside Romany Malco.
Glitch – Ned Dennehy
Dennehy joined TWDU as R.J. Gaines in the Daryl Dixon spinoff. He also stars in the supernatural series, Glitch. This series is set in a fictional Australian town where several dead people unexplainably rise from the dead. They have no memories and are in perfect health, and there is no explanation for their resurrection.

Devil to Pay – Jayson Warner Smith and Adam Boyer
The thriller Devil to Pay tells the story of an Appalachian farmer who, after the death of her husband, must find a way to pay his debts. The debts are owed to a powerful local family who lives by their own rules and laws. Starring TWD’s Jayson Warner Smith and Adam Boyer.

Selena: The Series – Christian Serratos – Netflix Original
This series is another telling of Mexican-American performer Selena Quintanilla’s life. Christian Serratos portrays the late singer, and the resemblance is uncanny. This series focuses on her amazing life and all of her accomplishments at such a young age. Parts 1 and 2 are available to stream.

We have a Ghost – Steve Coulter and Ann Mahoney – Netflix Original
This movie finds a new homeowner who experiences overnight social media status when he discovers his home is haunted by a ghost named Ernest. Starring Steve Coulter, Ann Mahoney, Jennifer Coolidge, David Harbour, and Anthony Mackie.
Irreplaceable you – Alanna Masterson
This film, starring Alanna Masterson, is a sweet tale of two people, Abbie and Sam, who have been friends since childhood and are now engaged to be married. Upon Abbie’s cancer diagnosis, she becomes determined to find her fiance Sam a new love before she dies.
Grace and Frankie – Ethan Embry
Grace and Frankie is a comedy series where two women, Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein, form an unlikely friendship later in life, when their husbands reveal want divorces because the husband are in love with each other. Embry plays one of Frankie’s sons.

Bobbleheads: The Movie– Khary Payton
Khary Payton voices Deuce in this animated movie about a group of bobbleheads to must join forces to defend their collector’s home.

The 100 – Nadia Hilker, Zach McGowan and Alycia Debnam Carey
The 100 is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama that originally aired on The CW that was loosely based on a novel series written by Kass Morgan. The series ran for seven seasons and ended in September 2020. The series is set 97 years after a nuclear apocalypse that has wiped out most living things on Earth. A space station called The Ark is home to thousands of people where three generations have been born. Nadia Hilker plays Luna at the end of season 3 through part of season 4. Zach McGowan plays Roan from the beginning of the third season through the fourth and appears in one episode of season 7. Alycia Debnam Carey portrayed Lexa and the Judge in seasons 2 and 3 with a special appearance in season 7.

Barry – Avi Nash & Jenna Elfman
The film Barry dramatizes the life of former President Barack Obama while he attended Columbia University. Avi Nash plays a friend of Obama’s named Saleem. Jenna Elfman plays Kathy Baughman, the mother of one of Obama’s friends. The film has an amazing cast and shows what it feels like to be mixed-race in America, and tells the story of one of our presidents. The film also stars Devon Terrell, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jason Mitchell, Ashley Judd, Ellar Coltrane, and Linus Roache.

He Never Died – Steven Ogg
The film that debuted at South by Southwest in 2015, He Never Died, follows Jack (Henry Rollins), who is an immortal cannibal. He avoids human contact to protect others and himself, shutting himself away in his apartment, only leaving for food, bingo, mass, and purchasing donated blood from a hospital intern. When his adult daughter is kidnapped, Jack decides to locate her and encounters many obstacles along the way. Steven Ogg plays Alex, a local crime boss who is involved with Jack’s daughter’s kidnapping.
Vikings Valhalla– Pollyanna McIntosh – Netflix original
Pollyanna McIntosh portrays Queen Ælfgifu of Denmark in the Netflix original series Vikings Valhalla. This series tells of some of the most famous Vikings in history, Leif Eriksson, his sister Freydis Eriksdotter, Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson, and Norman King William the Conqueror.
Virgin River – Alexandra Breckinridge – Netflix original
Breckinridge plays Mel Monroe, who moves to the remote town in Northern California, Virgin River. She is a midwife and nurse practitioner who wants to start fresh. She learns small-town living isn’t quite as easy as she hoped and will need to decide if Virgin River can be her new home.
Obliterated – Paola Lázaro & C. Thomas Howell – coming to Netflix November 30
Created by the makers of Cobra Kai, Obliterated follows a Special Forces team who hold a premature celebration party with drugs, booze and sex. They then learn that their mission was unsuccessful and must sober up to complete the mission and save the day.
Rebirth – Andrew J West – Netflix original
West plays JR in this thriller film that also stars Fran Kranz and Adam Goldberg. Two friends go on a weekend-long Rebirth retreat that requires them to unplug from the world. This begins a trippy journey of psychodrama, seduction, and violence.
Do Revenge – Austin Abrams – Netflix original
This Netflix original movie Do Revenge is a subverted Hitchcockian dark comedy loosely based on Alfred Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train (1951), with the scariest of all protagonists, teenage girls. Abrams portrays Max, the king of the school, who is suspected of releasing a sex tape featuring his girlfriend and Alpha It-girl Drea (Camila Mendes). Also stars Maya Hawke and Sarah Michelle Gellar and, in an uncredited role TWDs Cassady McClincy.

Boo, Bitch- Zoe Colletti – Netflix original
This series follows two high school seniors who, after realizing they’ve not been living life to the fullest, intend on making their senior year the best one yet. One night they get the courage to do all the things they’ve longed to do but never had the courage to try. The results of their escapades end drastically different from what they imagine when one of them wakes to find out she is a ” motherf*%king ghost.”

Cobra Kai – Okea Eme-Akwari
Eme-Akwari (Elijah on TWD) starred in seasons 3 and 4 of Cobra Kai. The Netflix original series follows Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence decades after their All Valley Tournament bout in 1984, where the find themselves martial-arts rivals for the second time.
F is for Family – Mo Collins
Mo Collins stars in the dark animated adult series F is for Family. The story follows a suburban Irish-American family who lives in Rustvale, Pennsylvania, in the 70s. Collins voices many characters in the series. There are currently 4 seasons available, with a fifth and final season in production.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom – Colman Domingo – Netflix original
This biographical film is a musical drama following the life of blues singer Ma Rainey. This story shows a recording session in 1927 at a Chicago Music studio where tensions rise as Ma Rainey and her band record their music. This film was Chadwick Boseman’s final film role.

The Highwaymen – Kim Dickens & John Carroll Lynch – Netflix original
This period crime drama is set in 1934 and shows the famous criminal duo, Bonnie and Clyde, when they break fellow criminals from the Texas Eastham Prison Farm. Former Texas Rangers are sent to track and kill the couple in a film based on true events. Dickens and Lynch star with Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson, and Kathy Bates.

The Good Nurse – Kim Dickens and Noah Emmerich – Netflix original
This Netflix original film was released in 2022 and tells of an ICU nurse who befriend a coworker, both professionally and personally. That is until a mysterious death of a patient appears to be the workings of her new coworker. Based on the true story of serial killer Charlie Cullen.

Army of the Dead – Garret Dillahunt – Netflix Original
During a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a casino owner hires a motley crew of mercenaries to break in and retrieve his money from the vault. Dillahunt portrays Martin as an employee of the casino with an agenda of his own.
This film also stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, and Huma Qureshi.

Cursed – Daniel Sharman – Netflix Original
Cursed is a Netflix drama series based on an illustrated novel. This series is a reimaging of the tale of King Arthur. A young rebel Nimue, armed with a mysterious sword, joins forces with a young Arthur while trying to save their people.

A Man Called Otto
This Tom Hanks led film stars Fear the Walking Dead’s Spenser Granese. This film tells of Otto a widower from Pittsburg who six months after losing his wife to cancer becomes cynical and crotchety. He meets his match when a lively family moves in next door and the wife/mother of that family befriends him.
Orange is the new Black – Elizabeth Rodriguez
Based on a book of the same title, this series chronicles the imprisonment of executive Piper, whose past catches up to her. She is put into a woman’s prison, where she learns the lifestyle there while making friends as well as enemies.
Rodriguez plays Aleida Diaz, a former inmate, in seasons 1-7.
Dragons Rescue Riders – 4 movies Nicolas Cantu
Cantu plays Dak in all four of the Netflix movies in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. The Dragons Rescue Riders follow Dak and his sister Leyla, who are twins raised by dragons. Being raised by dragons has given them the unique ability to communicate with them. The films follow the twins and the dragons as they help and rescue humans and other dragons.
Cantu also voice a characters in Skull Island.
Fear Street part two and three – Ted Sutherland – Netflix Original
Sutherland played the young Nick Goode in the second and third Fear Street films from Netflix. The Fear Street trilogy of films is based on the books by R.L. Stein and is a horror hit for the streamer. All three films were outstanding, with each one better than the last. Nick Goode would grow up to be the sheriff of Shadyside.
6 Underground – Corey Hawkins – Netflix original
Hawkins stars in Michael Bay’s action flick starring Ryan Reynolds, who plays a billionaire who compiles an elite group who has faked their deaths in order to become a vigilante squad. The elite group comes up against notorious criminals in their efforts to rid the world of at least some evil.
