Fear the Walking Dead’s Colman Domingo cast in a new Netflix series

Actor, writer, and director Colman Domingo is known for his role as the villain Victor Strand in Fear the Walking Dead. Deadline reports that Domingo has been cast as the lead in a Netflix original thriller, The Madness.
The eight-episode conspiracy thriller was created by Stephen Belber, known for The Laramie Project, who serves as co-showrunner with VJ Boyd (Justified). Directors for the series include Clément Virgo (Greenleaf), who directs the first two and last two episodes, with Quyen Tran (Maid) and Jessica Lowrey, each directing two of the four middle episodes.
Domingo has been cast as the lead, Muncie Daniels, a media pundit. After stumbling upon a murder in the woods of the Poconos, he will fight for his innocence and life. In order to survive, Muncie will seek to reconnect with his estranged family and return to his lost ideals.
What else does Colman Domingo star in?
He has portrayed Fear the Walking Dead’s Victor Strand since season 1. The series will premiere part one of its eighth and final season on AMC on May 14, 2023.

Domingo is well known for his memorable roles, including Euphoria, Candyman (2021), Blackout, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, If Beale Street Could Talk, Zola, Lincoln, and Selma.
He will also star in the upcoming Rustin, where he portrays civil rights activist Bayard Rustin and as Mister in a musical adaptation of the movie The Color Purple.
Domingo and his husband, Raúl Domingo, have created an excellent short film New Moon that has been shortlisted for an Oscar.
