Walking Dead News – Rick and Michonne, Fear TWD, Dead City and more

There was much news in The Walking Dead universe this week! Exciting things are happening with all of the spinoff series, and many TWDU actors are being cast in new projects. The Walking Dead series was nominated for a Critics Choice Super Award in the Best Horror Series, Limited Series, or TV Movie category.
Summit, the Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) spinoff series, sent the fandom into a tizzy with the release of a first-look photo of the power couple’s reunion. The series recently began filming in New Jersey, and fans are anxious to see what this series will bring in the next chapter of Rick and Michonne’s story.
Fear the Walking Dead began filming for the series final episode and released a new teaser for its eighth and final season that gave a first look at the mysterious PADRE. Things look tense at this new location, and our survivors are ready to revolt.
Dead City also released a new teaser that confirmed that Maggie’s (Lauren Cohan) son Hershel is abducted, which is why she and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) head to Manhattan.
