Walking Dead’s Josh Hamilton stars in episode of Accused

13 Reasons Why actor Josh Hamilton joined the cast of The Walking Dead during its eleventh and final season. He played Lance Hornsby, deputy governor of the Commonwealth, a man all consumed with power who met with a brutal ending. Since The Walking Dead concluded its story in November 2022, Hamilton has been very busy with new projects. On May 2 he stars in the latest episode of Accused, which airs on Fox.

Accused is created by Howard Gordon, known for another Fox drama, 24, based on the same-titled BBC series from 2010. The new series debuted in January 2023 and starred two other Walking Dead actors, Lauren Ridloff and Ian Anthony Dale. Accused is a crime drama made up of standalone stories told from the defendant’s point of view and has been renewed for a second season.

Hamilton will play a man named Dominic in episode 14, titled “Jessie.” This episode focuses on a teen girl trying to identify her biological father, who takes extreme measures when she hits roadblocks in her search for the truth.

Additional cast for this episode includes Bebe Wood, Betsy Brandt, Natalie Brown, and Skylar Gaertner.

Josh Hamilton – other new projects

Hamilton also stars in the newly released The Last Thing He Told Me with Jennifer Garner and fellow Walking Dead universe actress and director Aisha Tyler. This series is available on AppleTV+.

Next, Hamilton will star in the HBO film, Reality, which premieres on May 29. He will play an FBI agent who interrogates Sydney Sweeny’s, Reality Winner. This film is based on the actual events of Winner’s life, who was a former  American intelligence specialist suspected of mishandling classified information.
