Fear the Walking Dead’s Danay Garcia posts heartfelt birthday message

Fear the Walking Dead actress Danay Garcia is celebrating a birthday today. She has played Luciana in the series since season 2, and in season 8, part 1, Daniel (Ruben Blades) gave the impression she may have died. Luckily she is featured in the teaser for part 2 of the season. Check out her amazingly inspirational birthday message.

Filming for the final season of Fear the Walking Dead ended in March 2023. Since then, Garcia has begun the second season of her self-titled podcast. She developed the program during the pandemic as a way of “helping people plant seeds for growth and happiness.” The podcast features a diverse group of guests, including several members of TWD Family.

Some of her guests include Fear the Walking Dead cast members Rubén Blades (Daniel), Garret Dillahunt (John Dorie), Karen David (Grace), Colby Minifie (Virginia), and Daryl Mitchell (Wendell), and Walking Dead actor Steven Ogg (Simon).

Below is the social media post that Garcia shared on her birthday. It is an uplifting message about wisdom.

"Another year full of love, & light. Feeling blessed to be able to celebrate so many beautiful experiences with my familia community. Thank you for keeping me curious & inspiring the best in me. I love you guys to the moon & back! 🌷👑Here is a simple message 🙃The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It’s not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It’s encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way."

Fear the Walking Dead, season 8 – Danay Garcia as Luciana

Luciana’s fate has yet to be determined, but viewers will find out as Fear the Walking Dead has six episodes remaining to complete the final season. During the seven-year time jump experienced this season, the survivors were separated by PADRE into areas designated by their skills.

Fear the Walking Dead will return to AMC and AMC+ before the end of 2023 with part 2 of season 8.
