Exciting news for fans of The Walking Dead universe was released this week. AMC will bring a Walking Dead universe panel to San Diego Comic Con 2023 (SDCC). On Sunday, July 9, The Walking Dead: Dead City will air its fourth episode on AMC.

The SDCC panel will be featured on Friday, July 21, at 1 p.m. PT in Hall H. The expectation is that information regarding the numerous spinoffs will be released.

SDCC wish list: 

  • Fear the Walking Dead season 8 part 2 premiere date and official trailer.
  • The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premiere date, official trailer, and season 2 announcement.
  • The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne teaser trailer.
  • The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2 announcement.

Fans also hope that many cast members will be in attendance and long to see Melissa McBride appear and announce her inclusion in the Daryl Dixon spinoff’s second season.

AMC will air the fourth episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City titled “Everybody Wins a Prize.” This episode is available early on AMC+. This episode will see Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) begin to carry out their plan to rescue Hershel (Logan Kim) and take down The Croat  (Željko Ivanek).

UPDATE: July 2023 – Actors will not be present during the panel due to the SAG-AFTRA & WGA strikes.

Walking Dead news July 9

Fear the Walking Dead actress Alycia Debnam-Carey will star in a new series with Sigourney Weaver, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. This series will air on Prime Video beginning Aug. 4.

The anthology spinoff of The Walking Dead, Tales of the Walking Dead season 1, is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. News of a second season hasn’t been released, but another short-form series, More Tales of the Walking Dead, was announced, but no other information has been released. It is unclear if More Tales is the second season or a brand-new series.

Walking Dead actor, Jon Bernthal starred in the first season of The Bear, which airs on Hulu. He also appears in the second season in one of the best episodes with an amazing all-star cast.

AMC has announced that The Walking Dead: Dead City Cast Diaries will air exclusively on AMC+ beginning July 20.

Don’t miss Walking Dead actor Michael Rooker in the new Netflix movie, The Out-Laws. 

Walking Dead actor Callan McAuliffe, who played Alden in the series, has been cast in a new film, Expectations. This film is a companion to Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, which sees the main character, Pip, played by McAuliffe, as an adult.
