Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon meet Fallou (Eric Ebouaney) artist and warrior
By Renee Hansen
This week AMC released new key art and a teaser for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Another character profile clip was released, introducing a character named Fallou, played by actor Eric Ebouaney. This spinoff will see Daryl far away from home in a brand new land; he will encounter many new people, some friends and some foes.
Ebouaney describes Fallou as an artist, warrior, and leader of his community, which is part of the resistance. In the clip, Fallou appears to be on friendly terms with The Union of Hope, another resistance group. This group comprises nuns that Daryl encounters that live at an Abbey with a well-stocked arsenal. There he meets Isabelle (Clémence Poésy), Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard), and Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi).
The nuns believe that Daryl has been sent to them to ensure that Laurent is safely ushered to another location where he can fulfill his destiny as leader of humanity’s revival.
Another group, The Cause, led by Genet (Anne Charrier), is a political movement who aren’t too pleased with the American and likely his mission. She orders her soldier, Codron (Romain Levi), to hunt him down and kill him.
In the clip below, Ebaouaney introduces Fallou and utters the heartbreaking comment, “Hear that? It’s Paris crying.”
