Directed by Will Gluck, known for Fired Up, Friends with Benefits, and Easy A, Anyone But You is loosely based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Gluck co-wrote the screenplay with IIana Wolpert, and the film is scheduled to be released exclusively in theaters on December 22, 2023.

Set in Sydney, Australia, the story follows Bea and Ben, two people who, although they despise one another, can’t seem to get away from one another. The pair previously attended college together, where they were arch-nemeses, and find themselves guests at a destination wedding where they pretend to be a couple.

Anyone But You has generated much interest, starring two of Hollywood’s hot names, Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Glen Powell (Top Gun Maverick). The movie also stars Hurd, Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, Rachel Griffiths, Bryan Brown, and Joe Davidson.
