Emmy Award-Winning Colman Domingo, known for his numerous notable roles, including Fear the Walking Dead, Rustin, Sing Sing, and more, will now star in a new Netflix original. The Four Seasons was created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, who previously teamed up on the final season of NBC's 30 Rock.
The Four Seasons adapts the 1981 movie, which starred Alan Alda with Carol Burnett, Rita Moreno, Sandy Dennis, and Len Cariou. Creators of the new series serve as executive producers with David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond, with producers Alda and Marissa Bregman, whose father Martin produced the original.
The eight-part series teams up Date Night co-stars Fey and Steve Carell and follows four seasons of a group of married couples who vacation together. The group dynamic is significantly affected when one couple makes the decision to divorce.
Fey and Carell are joined by Colman Domingo (Rustin, The Madness), Will Forte (Bodkin), Kerri Kenney-Silver (Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp), Marco Calvani (High Tide), and Erika Henningsen (Girls5Eva).
Colman Domingo
Domingo makes headlines by being the best dressed at whatever event he attends, for the success and his performance in his movie Sing, Sing, and all of the awards buzz surrounding all of his recent roles. In addition to his recent roles in The Madness, Drive-Away Dolls, Rustin, The Color Purple, and more, Domingo has several other projects in various stages of production. In 2023, he bid farewell to Victor Strand in Fear the Walking Dead in the series eight and final season.
Next, he will star with an ensemble cast in The Electric State that releases on Netflix on March 15. He will write, direct, and star in a Nat King Cole biopic, and portray Joe Jackson in the Michael Jackson biopic, Michael. Domingo will also appear in the remake of The Running Man where he will portray the game show host, a role played by Richard Dawson in the original.
