A few weeks ahead of the The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 premiere date on Sunday, July 26, the trailer is finally arriving.
AMC revealed on social media that the first official trailer for Dead City season 3 will be released on Wednesday, June 10. We don't know yet what time the Dead City season 3 trailer will drop, but I'm guessing it will be sometime in the morning if the past trailer drops have set any precedent.
The Walking Dead announced the news on Twitter and teased the return of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). We've already seen first-look images, teasers, and clips with those two characters. There's no doubt fans are excited to see their return.

So far, most of the teasers have teased Maggie's plan to take back Manhattan, hinting at a larger conflict ready to erupt in the third season between Maggie and Negan's ragtag group and the other parties in control in different areas of the city.
In addition to Maggie and Negan, though, fans are already discussing what's to come in the seaosn 3 trailer. We should see the introduction of the three new key characters and stars from the Dead City season 3 cast, including Renata (Aimee Garcia), Luis (Raul Castillo), and Dillard (Jimmi Simpson). Fans just saw Dillard, who runs a bar in the city, meet Negan in the first clip from Dead City season 3. Honestly, he seems like quite the character. He's certainly someone who will be shown in the trailer.
Outside of those characters, we should also get a look at Logan Kim and some of the other key characters not named Maggie and Negan. We haven't really seen much of the New Babylon crew yet, either, but they should be included in the trailer, as well.
Fans are also already discussing the possibility that we'll see Emily Kinney, who starred in The Walking Dead as Beth Greene, Maggie's sister. There are many, many rumors that Kinney will be returning to the world of The Walking Dead in Dead City season 3, so we could, in theory, see the character in the upcoming trailer.
