Fans of award-winning actor Colman Domingo are fully aware that he is a fashion icon who isn't afraid to experiment with his clothing choices. He once wore a hot pink, crystal-encrusted Atelier Versace suit to the Oscars!
Domingo, who was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2024, recently shared the fantastic news that he graces the cover of Vogue magazine's May 2025 issue. Check out the cover image below and Domingo's caption, which highlights his journey.
Domingo, along with Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour, will co-chair The Met Gala on May 5, 2025, and LeBron James will serve as honorary chair. All four of Domingo's co-chairs are also featured on their own covers of Vogue as promotion for the event.
The event will be held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which will begin a new exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style from The Costume Institute, on view from May 10 through October 26. This year's Gala dress code is "Tailored for You," which is inspired by the exhibit's focus on suiting and menswear.

Colman Domingo - upcoming roles
Domingo said goodbye to his Fear the Walking Dead character Victor Strand in the eighth and final season of the series in 2023. Since then he has continued to entertain with numerous new projects, and more to come.
On May 1, Domingo will star in the Netflix original comedy, The Four Seasons, with Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, and Erika Henningsen. You can also see him on Netflix in the thriller The Madness and hear his voice talents in The Electric State.
Watch his Oscar nominated performance in the prison drama Sing Sing, which is now streaming on Max. Other recent roles include appearances in Drive-Away Dolls, The Color Purple, Rustin, and Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken.
He has several other projects in the works, including the Running Man reboot and his directorial debut, Scandalous, which stars his Euphoria co-star Sydney Sweeney.
