Jeffrey Dean Morgan is set to narrate a new film Walking Dead fans didn't see coming

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a name that commands attention. Just hearing it instantly conjures images of the charismatic, unpredictable, and utterly unforgettable Negan from The Walking Dead. But now, fans of the talented actor are in for something entirely different, something they didn’t see coming.

Morgan is set to narrate a brand-new movie! There are no zombies here nor any post-apocalyptic chaos this time around. Instead, audiences are invited to step inside a story of triumph, teamwork, and memorable moments captured over the course of a championship season for one of the most celebrated and hard-fought teams in professional sports.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is confirmed to narrate Super Bowl Champions: The 2025 Seattle Seahawks

If you weren't aware, Morgan is one of the biggest Seattle Seahawks fans. He's very active on X and often uses his social media platform to cheer on the team and celebrate their victories. Of course, that's when he's not posting things related to The Walking Dead and its spinoff The Walking Dead: Dead City.

In fact, Morgan was quick to congratulate the Seahawks on his X page following their Super Bowl LX victory over the New England Patriots on Feb. 8, 2026. Now, he's getting to combine two of his greatest passions. That's storytelling and football! He'll be lending his unmistakable voice to a cinematic retelling of the Seahawks’ historic 2025 football season in Super Bowl Champions: The 2025 Seattle Seahawks.

Produced by NFL Films in association with BD4, this 75-minute documentary film is slated for release on The Roku Channel on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. It's worth noting that fans will get to watch it for free on this streaming service. The only requirement is having access to Roku, either through a Roku device, smart TV, or the Roku app. Additionally, it will also be available in Canada.

Super Bowl Champions: The 2025 Seattle Seahawks offers a comprehensive look back at the Seahawks’ 2025 season. The film features game broadcast footage, behind-the-scenes access, and extended highlights from Super Bowl LX, giving viewers a front-row seat to one of the most celebrated seasons in recent NFL history. In addition, the documentary features Championship parade coverage and the most extensive collection of player and coach wired audio from throughout the 2025 season.

In addition to this documentary film, Morgan has a couple of other projects scheduled for release soon. There's The Boys season 5, which is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 8. Another project is Invincible season 4. That's set to drop on Prime Video on March 18.

Morgan has also been confirmed to return as host of the recently renewed NBC reality series Destination X. Additionally, there's Dead City season 3 and an upcoming Prime Video drama series called Sterling Point. However, these three shows don't have release dates just yet.
