Kyle Gallner has a long list of credits to his name including a huge number of horror titles. This has earned him the label Scream King.
Recently, The Walking Dead, Strange Darlings, and Dinner in America actor Kyle Gallner was announced for a new romantic crime thriller, Carolina Caroline. Deadline broke the news that Gallner, Samara Weaving, Kyra Sedgwick, and Jon Gries were filming the latest movie directed by Adam Carter Rehmeier (Dinner in America) in Kentucky.
Soon after this announcement, Gallner posted on Instagram that filming for the project had wrapped, and he was excited for everyone to see it.

Gallner is well known for his portrayal of Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas in Veronica Mars, Bart Allen in Smallville, and Reed Garrett in CSI: NY.
Horror movies
In 2009, he had roles in back-to-back horrors: The Haunting of Connecticut, where he played a cancer patient haunted by evil spirits, and Jennifer's Body as a character named Colin. Gallner recently commemorated the 15th anniversary of Jennifer's Body with an image of Colin, complete with guyliner and lip ring.
In 2010, he appeared in A Nightmare on Elm Street, a remake of Wes Craven's original. He also starred in Kevin Smith's (Jay and Silent Bob) indie horror Red State and The Cleansing Hour, an adaptation of a short film that features a staged exorcism that is televised but takes a nefarious turn. He had roles in the supernatural horror Ghosts of War and Scream (2022), the fifth installment of that franchise.
Gallner, along with fellow TWDU actor Jesse T. Usher, starred in the 2022 psychological supernatural horror Smile. Gallner will return in the highly anticipated sequel, Smile 2, which will be released on October 18, 2024.

Most recently, Gallner starred in the serial killer thriller Strange Darling. The movie has a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes with the consensus reading: "JT Mollner delivers a thrillingly unexpected and electric ride with two breakout performances by Willa Fitzgerald and Kyle Gallner in Strange Darling." JT Mollner directed the film, which was shot on 35 mm film on location in Oregon by Giovanni Ribisi. The movie stars Gallner, Willa Fitzgerald, Ed Begley Jr., and Genevieve. According to When to Stream, the film will be released on VOD beginning October 1, 2024.
Other roles
Gallner has played main roles in several series, including Interrogation, Outsiders, and Jan. He played Zach in season 4 of The Walking Dead, and also appeared in Criminal Minds, The Shield, and in 2002 and 2007 he appeared in episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, in two different roles in unrelated stories.
