New images for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live featuring Rick and Michonne and more
By Renee Hansen
On Sunday, February 25, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will debut its first episode on AMC and AMC+. The network has released new images for season 1 of the six-part series.
TWD CCO Scott M. Gimple serves as showrunner for The Ones Who Live, and executive produces with Lincoln, Gurira, and TWD veterans Denise Huth, Brian Bockrath, and Greg Nicotero.
These images showcase Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in their reprisal of the roles of Rick and Michonne, who were introduced in The Walking Dead. Many of the photos also give a glimpse of some of the new characters that will be introduced in this series.
These photos with the red lights give an ominous look at things within the CRM. Rick and Pearl Thorne (Lesley-Ann Brandt) are members of the culling facility employees, signified by their jackets.
Michonne is pictured in several different states of emotion. She has been searching for her true love for so long, she has to be exhausted physcially and emotionally. Luckily she still has allies with Aiden (Andrew Bachelor), Bailey (Breeda Wool), and Nat (Matthew Jeffers) and other in their group.
We also get a closer look at her new armor which was first featured in the coda scene of The Walking Dead's series finale in November 2022.
Check out these closeups of Craig Tate as Lt. Col. Donald Okafor of the CRM and Brandt as Thorne.
And we can't forget Rick Grimes who has been through a lot since viewers saw him last.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live premieres on AMC and AMC+ on February 25.
