The Madness starring Fear the Walking Dead's Colman Domingo begins filming

Emmy award-winning Colman Domingo has secured his next role. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Madness, a Netflix original miniseries, began filming in West Philadelphia.
The Madness is an eight-part limited series created for Netflix by Stephen Belber (O.G., The Laramie Project), who serves as co-showrunner with VJ Boyd (Justified, S.W.A.T.). Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kaitlin Dahill executive produce with Clément Virgo (Greenleaf), who directs episodes 1, 2, 7, and 8. Quyen Tran (Maid) and Jessica Lowrey (Perry Mason) direct two episodes each.
Domingo portrays Muncie Daniels, a media pundit who, after stumbling upon a murder deed in the woods of the Pocono Mountains, begins the fight for his life as he tries to prove his innocence. In order to survive, he must then try to repair relationships with his estranged family and his lost ideals.
According to Deadline, the Additional cast includes Marsha Stephanie Blake, Tamsin Topolski, John Ortiz, and Gabrielle Graham. Blake portrays Munice's wife and mother of his 15-year-old son, and Graham portrays his adult daughter. Ortiz plays FBI field agent Franco Quinones, and Topolski plays Lucie Snipes, a woman who, when she finds herself at a crossroads, must choose between right and wrong.
Colman Domingo - upcoming roles
Domingo has been cast in two other outstanding roles. The first is the biopic Michael, directed by Antoine Fuqua, based on the life of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Domingo will portray Jackson's father, the patriarch of the Jackson family, Joe Jackson. The film stars Michael Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in the title role.
He will also portray Nat King Cole in the biopic about the singer, jazz pianist, and actor. Domingo co-wrote the script for this film.
Domingo ended his run as Victor Strand in The Walking Dead spinoff Fear the Walking Dead in November 2022. He portrayed Strand throughout the eight-season run of the series and showed off his acting chops as the character you loved to hate. He also directed three episodes of the series.
