The Walking Dead fandom can hardly contain the excitement for the upcoming spinoff The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The spinoff, the sixth within the universe, will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on February 25. While the main focus is Rick and Michonne, roles reprised by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, there will be many new faces as well. One of those is Lucifer actress Lesley-Ann Brandt in the role of Pearl Thorne. In a recent social media post, Brandt shared a photo of her audition for the role.

The Ones Who Live will see a significant focus on the Civic Republic Military (CRM), the advanced organization that holds Rick Grimes. Pearl Thorne will also be a member of this group in some fashion, likely working in the culling facitilies as her jacket in the teasers and first look image indicates. Before the outbreak, Thorne lived in Cape Flats, South Africa, a detail Brandt previously shared on social media.

To continue hyping up the series, Brandt recently shared an image of herself from her audition tape, complete with impressive DIY SFX makeup. The caption states that she learned a thing or two from all of the talented makeup artists she has worked with over the years. Katie Ellwood, part of The One Who Lives directorial team of Bert and Bertie, commented, "I remember it so well! Makeup came second only to your badassery and acting chops!" Praise indeed!

Fans are excited to meet Pearl and the other new characters that will be featured, including Major General Beale, portrayed by Terry O'Quinn, Donald Okafor as Craig Tate, and Nat, played by Matthew August Jeffers. Pollyanna McIntosh is also returning as Jadis in the series, as do Andrew Bachelor and Breeda Wool as Bailey and Aiden.

Don't miss The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live on AMC and AMC+ on February 25.
