The Walking Dead socials tease fans with the promise of Caryl this Sunday

This weekend is BIG for The Walking Dead fandom. Sunday, March 31, AMC and AMC+ will air the season finale of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. This series is centered on Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) and their love story. Following the finale, AMC will air the
commercial free debut of Parish that will be followed by something special for fans of Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus).

This week, Variety reported that AMC would reveal a first look at the upcoming Daryl Dixon season, The Book of Carol. Fans are estatic to see a proper return of Carol to the storyline. She was briefly featured at the end of season 1 of Daryl Dixon, where she was searching for her best friend Daryl, who viewers know has been shipped off to France.

Below is the reminder teaser from The Walking Dead's social media accounts. This post actually states that the exclusive look will be featured during the premiere, but AMC has announced Parish is commercial-free. So, it looks like you may have to watch Parish to find out and to ensure you don't miss it! Perhaps this feature will also announce the official release date!! (fingers crossed)

The Book of Carol

The subtitle, The Book of Carol, brings the character back into the story, but no details have been released about exactly how she fits into the story. Daryl, as viewers know, is in France, and the first teaser (below) shows him with Laurent and Isabelle, so he didn't get on that boat, which would have begun his trip home. This teaser also shows Carol looking for Daryl in Maine, his last known location.

No matter what the story, fans are excited to see Carol and Daryl reunite in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
