The wait to watch The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 on Netflix US is finally over.
While about a billion fans around the world were watching the 2026 World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina on Sunday, July 19, a lot fewer fans, probably, were watching Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) wash up on the beaches of Spain while trying to survive the zombie apocalypse.
Netflix added all seven episodes of Daryl Dixon season 3 about eight months after the season came to an end on AMC. We learned last month that the new season was coming to Netflix in mid-July. Now, fans can binge-watch all three seasons of Daryl Dixon on Netflix. The first two seasons were made available to stream on Netflix last year.
Daryl Dixon season 3 premiered on AMC on Sept. 7 and ran for seven episodes through Oct. 19. The second season wasn't actually available to stream on Netflix before season 3 premiered. Netflix adding the third season way before the season 4 premiere is actually a really good thing. It will hopefully lead to a bit of a ratings bump for Daryl Dixon season 4 by the time it premieres.
Unfortunately, the fourth season of the hit Walking Dead spinoff will be the last, but it doesn't sound like Reedus is leaving The Walking Dead universe just yet.
This is as good of a time as any to get caught up on the series before Daryl Dixon season 4 premieres on AMC later this year. We still don't know exactly when Daryl Dixon season 4 will arrive. Most fans are thinking the season will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in September 2026, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
To make things slightly worse, Daryl Dixon is skipping out on San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, and The Walking Dead: Dead City will be there for the panel and season 3 premiere screening at SDCC on Friday, July 24, but Norman Reedus and the gang will not be there this year. Fans were expecting that there would be a big send-off for Daryl Dixon and a release date announcement because season 4 is the final season. Unless Daryl Dixon crashes the Dead City season 3 party, we're probably going to be waiting a little bit longer to find out the release date for the final season.
