According to the release Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 4, and on PC via Xbox PC, Battle.net and Steam. Also, play on day one on Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.

Was Michael Rooker in The Righteous Gemstones?

Fans of Danny McBride's HBO series The Righteous Gemstones were sure to spot Rooker in five episodes of the fourth and final season of the series. Rooker joined Megan Mullally and Seann William Scott as guest stars for season 4. Rooker portrayed Cobb Milsap, Lori's (Mullally) ex-husband and a former friend of the Gemstone family. Scott was cast as their son Corey.

In 2024, Rooker lent his voice talents for another project, the DC Studios series Creature Commandos. In a guest-starring role, he voiced Sam Fitzgibbon, a military antique collector and member of a neo-Nazi group. The series, created by James Gunn, who wrote the seven-part first season, features a group of black ops monsters assembled by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). The main cast consists of Indira Varma, Sean Gunn, Alan Tudyk, Zoë Chao, David Harbour, and Frank Grillo.

Rooker is a frequent collaborator with Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy director and co-CEO of DC Studios, so it isn't too surprising that the actor will star in season 2 of Gunn's Peacemaker series. John Cena portrays the title character and is joined by Rooker, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodríguez, David Denman, and Tim Meadows. The second season will premiere on Max beginning August 21, 2025.
