Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus is in for a massive year with the release of the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and the new season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Deadline and other media outlets are reporting that the actor has now been cast in a horror movie, Pendulum.

Directed by Mark Heyman (Black Swan), the movie also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Phoebe Dynevor as a couple vacationing at a New Age retreat in New Mexico. Darren Aronofsky is producing.

Reedus portrays a friend of the couple who introduces them to the retreat where the couple attempt healing after a traumatic event. Patrick (Gordon-Levitt) becomes distrustful of the retreat leader and Abigail (Dynevor) falls completely under her spell.

Filming for the project is underway in New Mexico which accounts for Reedus' absence at Canneseries in France. He was originally announced to serve as head of the jury for the event.

The third season of the Daryl Dixon series is scheduled for release in 2025. The series will move its story from France to Spain and follow best friends Daryl, played by Reedus, and Carol (Melissa McBride) on a new adventure.

The first season follows Daryl's journey to France followed by Carol's journey in season 2. After being reunited, the duo will now travel to Spain where new adventures await.

Fans are gearing up for the next chapter in the fan-favorite character's stories, and they, yet again, expand the ever-growing Walking Dead universe.

Daryl and Carol will make a stop in England where they will meet "a very interesting character," portrayed by Emmy-winning actor Stephen Merchant, before heading on to Spain.

Since the season was filmed in Spain, the cast sees several additions of Spanish actors including Eduardo Noriega, Alexandra Masangkay, Hugo Arbués, Candela Saitta, and more.

An official trailer has yet to be released but you can take a look at this revealing teaser to get a feel of what this season will be about.
