Even though it hasn't even been a year since The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 premiered or ended, we have still been anxious for the next chapter of the spinoff series. It's time for a new season, and while it's bittersweet that after these episodes come and go there will only be one more season, there's no time like the present to savor another adventure with Daryl and Carol.
Last season, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon featured the subtitle The Book of Carol as a means to announce the arrival of Carol into the series and underscore the focus on her story, but according to creator David Zabel, season 3 won't feature a subtitle. That's an exciting prospect since we don't fully know what to expect from the direction of the new episodes.
Thankfully, there is one more episode to enjoy this season as the episode has increased, but what time do the episodes air on AMC? And how can fans stream the episodes on AMC+ and catch up on season 2? We're sharing the details fans need to know before turning into Daryl Dixon season 3, including the episode release times, episode titles, and the season trailer!

How to watch TWD spinoff on AMC+
If you don't have access to AMC on cable, then you will have to have a subscription to AMC+ to watch weekly new episodes of Daryl Dixon season 3. The streaming service currently offers a promotion for 20% the annual subscription plan. The offer expires on Sept. 30, which gives TWD fans plenty of time to sign up and begin watching season 3 before the season ends.
With the discount, the AMC+ annual plan decreases from its usual price of $199.88 per year to $95.88 per year, which comes out to $7.99 per month. In comparison, a monthly premium subscription to AMC+, which includes an ad-free experience, will cost you $9.99. If you want a cheaper plan, the ad tier costs $6.99 per month. Each subscription includes AMC+, Shudder, Sundance Now, IFC Films, and six live television channels.
Plan | What's Included | Price |
---|---|---|
Annual Premium | Full access to AMC+, Shudder, Sundance Now, IFC Films, and six live TV channels. No ads. Episode downloads. | $95.88 until Sept.30 ($119.88 without deal) |

Right now, a subscription to AMC+ is the only place where you can watch Daryl Dixon season 2. While the first season is still available to watch on Netflix in the United States, the second season hasn't been added to the platform yet and likely won't in time for fans to catch up before season 3. If you still need to watch the six episodes of season 2, AMC+ is the place to do it!
What to expect from Daryl Dixon this season
While the first two seasons of Daryl Dixon took place in the city of Paris and around France among other locations, season 3 was filmed in Spain and finds Daryl and Carol embarking on a new adventure with new friends and enemies. They are still trying to find their way back home, but their winding journey takes on even more detours and dangers around the world.
Here's the official season 3 synopsis via AMC: "Season 3, which filmed in Spain will follow Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride) as they continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse."
The excellent new season has been described as a Spaghetti Western, and that's the perfect description for how Daryl dives into his mission this season. He's getting back to his old ways and reveling in the thrills of a new location and new obstacles. Obviously, he will still be deep in mourning over Isabelle and feeling that guilt, but that surely only gives him more motivation.
Of course, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride are back to reprise their iconic roles as Daryl and Carol, and the new season welcomes additional cast members Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín, and Stephen Merchant.
Daryl Dixon season 3 premieres Sunday, Sept. 7 on AMC and AMC+.
