The Walking Dead: World Beyond premiere date, cast, teaser and more
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead: World Beyond is a limited series spin-off of the flagship series The Walking Dead. A coming-of-age story about a group of teens who have grown up after the outbreak. They have grown up within the protection of a community surrounded by walls, and once they have to leave that protection, their worldview is severely altered. The second and final season will premiere in October.
The first season ended with the group being split up. Huck betrayed the group and took Hope to the CRM. Silas was framed and captured by the CRM as he sacrifices himself so Elton and Percy can escape. Felix and Iris head off on their own and reunited with Will, Felix’s boyfriend, who saw that the Omaha Colony had been destroyed and assumed the worst.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond teaser
Although a full official trailer has yet to be released, we have gotten an amazing teaser to give us a glimpse of what to expect for the second and final season of this limited series.
The teaser shows us that Elizabeth is ready to honor the alliance of The Three, the Civic Republic, the city of Portland and the city of Omaha. This did include Omaha’s satellite community of Campus Colony that the CRM has destroyed. It seems odd she calls for an alliance after the fact. Is this another betrayal in the making? Is the city being bombed Portland?
World Beyond will not see the appearance of Rick Grimes but could give us many clues to his whereabouts. The final season begins airing on October 3, and the final episode will air on December 5.
