This week’s Walking Dead universe news (August 19, 2022)

The Walking Dead universe saw the premiere of Tales of the Walking Dead this past week. The first episode, “Evie/Joe,” has been met with mixed reviews, but overall, fans seem pleased with the first chapter in the anthology series starring Terry Crews, Olivia Munn and Kersti Bryan. If you have yet to watch this episode, AMC is offering it on YouTube for free.
This Sunday, August 21, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC, the second story, “Blair/Gina,” will air. The episode is currently available on AMC+. The second episode is a reality-bending story that is extremely unique to The Walking Dead universe. Many have viewed this episode via AMC+, and the reaction has been mostly positive as it is very creative and exciting.
“Blair/Gina” stars Parker Posey as Blair, Jullian Bell as Gina, Matt Medrano as Brian, Kevin L. Johnson as Joel, Patrick Donohue as Simon, VK as Jasmine, Ameer Baraka as Leo Rogers, William J. Simmons as Wendell and Keith Adams as Oil Tanker Driver.
AMC+ will release the highly anticipated third episode, “Dee,” on August 21. This episode sees Samantha Morton reprise her role as Alpha, but the story goes back to a time when she was known as Dee. It is an outstanding episode that shows the lengths a mother will go to to protect her child.
