We are speedily approaching the premiere of 11C of The Walking Dead. However, this isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to. Although these TWD moments are bittersweet, there is still so much content to come!

AMC will be airing a Talking Dead preview special for fans to listen to the cast and crew talking about what to expect, along with another season of the talk show following every episode live after it airs on AMC. There will also be a live fan event in LA on November 20 to celebrate the final episode; more details are still to be announced. And in just a couple of weweeksTWD is heading to New York for a few fun-filled events.

One is Paley Fest where members of the cast and crew will hold a panel with a Q&A for fans to ask those critical questions. However, that is not all, they will also be holding a further panel at New York Comic Con 2022 to discuss all things 11C!

5 questions for The Walking Dead at NYCC

5. What happened to Luke?

As we know, Luke (Dan Fogler) was a pivotal part of the new group inducted into Alexandria upon the time jump in Season 9. Along with Kelly, Magna, and Yumiko, Luke joined forces with our favorites and fought in a fierce battle against the Whisperers. We also know that his last appearance was in 1016 “, A Certain Doom,” but since he has not been seen in season 11.

Luke found his romantic partner in crime and a resident of Oceanside, Jules. Together they helped fight the Whisperers and win the battle, but is Luke still there with Jules? I think so, however, we know from the synopsis for 1118 “A New Deal” Aaron, Jerry, Elijah and Lydia are on the way to Oceanside. Maybe they will run into Luke and reunite – I hope so! I hope they share a little insight into how he has spent his time and how he came to find out about the Commonwealth.

4. Will any of the episodes have a longer run time?

This would be an excellent thing to find out, as I really hope they do. The Walking Dead is no stranger to having episodes of importance run slightly longer than the average forty-four or so minutes with some running at a little over an hour. As these will be the final eight episodes fans get of the flagship show, I really do hope that we see some run longer however, this hasn’t been addressed or even speculated – it would just be super dope for us to get!

3. Will AMC + release the final one week early?

I really hope not! The subscription brought to US fans offers subscribers streaming of episodes of TWDU one week early. As an international fan, this makes it even harder to avoid spoilers as we cannot get the subscription so for the final episode, I hope AMC makes the decision for the series finale to air at the same time everywhere for everyone.

This hasn’t yet been addressed, and currently, there seems to be nothing to say they won’t be showing it a week early. However, I hope something may get said at NYCC about it as I have heard rumors the finale will drop at the same time everywhere. So, I for sure am really hoping for this because what a thing to experience all together. Please AMC!

2. Will we see any familiar faces pop up?

By this I mean, looking at the flashback sequence in Rick’s Final Episode, 905 “What Comes After” we see epic cameos for Jon Bernthal, Sonequa Martin-Green, and the late great Scott Wilson. So, seeing as the final episode will be rounding off one hundred and seventy-seven episodes of the story, there could potentially be old or new clips of some of our past favorites popping up. Although this would be incredibly emotional, how amazing for us to potentially glimpse some for one last time in the flagship show.

1. What is the one thing you’ll take away from your characters?

Nothing relating to the plot but to experiences, the actors have been living as their characters for many years and bringing their all to the roles. But it would be lovely to hear about what could potentially be the last panel for the show, what they may have changed about the way they live their lives thanks to their characters. Be it big or small, this series has affected many lives, and it would be nice to hear some stories.

This list could go on and on as there is so much we want to know ahead of these new episodes. However, for obvious reasons not all of them could be answered. However, I feel this bunch is possible for us to get answers to and help clear a few things up! And I cannot wait for all upcoming TWD affairs!
