The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live episode 1, “Years," release date on AMC and AMC+

The Walking Dead universe is bracing itself for the next spinoff, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The sixth spinoff within TWDU is the most highly anticipated story that features the return of Rick and Michonne.
The Ones Who Live episode one is titled "Years," with the story by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, who also executive produces. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira also created the story for this episode, executive produce, and star in the series. The team of Bert & Bertie directed the episode and are well known for their work on Troop Zero, Hawkeye, Lessons in Chemistry, and Silo. The team will also direct the upcoming titles, Queen Bitch & The High Horse, a feature film adaptation of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction featured at Disneyland.
The first episode of The Ones Who Live, "Years," will premiere on AMC Networks subscription service AMC+ on Sunday, February 25 at 3 a.m. ET and on AMC at 9 p.m. ET.
This episode will feature the begining of what fans hope will be the most epic spinoff yet. The synopsis for the episode featured on AMC's schedule reads: "Rick tries to find his place in a new world."

It is unclear exactly which characters will appear in episode one besides Rick. Pearl Thorne will likely appear as she works alongside Rick in the culling facilities, signified by their jackets.
