Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier are two characters from The Walking Dead who have proven they are the ultimate survivors. Both characters begin their journeys in season 1 of the main series and have now continued in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon spinoff series. The third season will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in the fall of 2025, and it's about survival and living again.
The most recent teaser for the upcoming season of Daryl Dixon is short, but the message is clear: They survived, and now it's time to start living again. The promo clip features Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) in their continued journey in foreign lands. Narrated by Carol, the clip shows some new, not-so-friendly faces, as Carol states, "If you're lucky, you can start living again."
Daryl's overseas travels began in season 1 when he was unceremoniously thrown onto a ship bound for France. There he immediately started planning for his return to the states. He encountered a group in need of his help and set aside his plans to assist them. By the end of this season his relationships with these people grew into something dear to him.
Carol joined the story in season 2, where upon learning that her best friend was taken to France, embarked on a dangerous journey to find him. They reunited in this season which also saw Daryl lose many of the people who had become quite important to him while in France. The season ended with Daryl and Carol traveling via the Chunnel that would take them England, where season 3 will begin.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3
The third season of Daryl Dixon will feature the return of Daryl and Carol, who will be joined by many new characters in the next chapter of their story set in Spain.
The duo will first stop in London, where they encounter an interesting character portrayed by award-winning actor Stephen Merchant. Other new cast members announced for the upcoming season include Spanish actor Óscar Jaenada, with Eduardo Noriega, Alexandra Masangkay, Hugo Arbués, and Candela Saitta.
AMC's synopsis for Daryl Dixon season 3: Season three tracks Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) as they continue their journey towards home and the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands[3] with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.
