The Walking Dead has kept fans on the edge of their seat ever since the beginning, with plots and storylines filled with epic twists and turns. It has come years into the apocalypse and how people need to change and make hard choices to survive in dire times. As frustrating as some choices can be, the uncertainty keeps the show current and exciting.

Season 11 of The Walking Dead is soon to be blessing our screens, which means now is the time for the promotions and build-up. Fans have already been lucky to see many teasers on social media so far. But, arguably, the biggest player in this build-up is, of course, the Comic-Con panels – especially San Diego.

The Walking Dead Universe has been a key point of San Diego Comic-Con since the first season began. TWDU usually invades Hall H with the premiere trailer of the upcoming season, but, like last year, fans will once again watch Comic-Con at home. As San Diego Comic-Con at Home is quickly approaching, there are some things that fans want to know.

5 questions for The Walking Dead at SDCC

5. Any details or dates for Season 11 parts 2 and 3?

In the most recent teaser, we have seen that Part 2 and 3 of Season 11 (which is split into 8 episodes a section) will air in 2022, but no official dates have been announced. This may not be revealed until after the finale of Part 1 in October.

4. Any new information on Mercer?

The teasers have given us our first proper look into the Commonwealth Office Mercer, which was awesome! But, lucky for fans, the actor behind Mercer (Michael James Shaw) will appear on the panel. Perhaps he might be able to give us some insight into any storylines and if the TV version will follow the comics’ footsteps and have a romance with Princess (Paulo Lazaro).

3. Will we see Stephanie?

When will the mysterious Stephanie appear? When looking closely at the last couple of teasers, there is an image of Eugene (Josh Mcdermitt) sitting on a bench enjoying an ice cream with a mysterious new character who isn’t Stephanie – but does she know her, or will she lead Eugene to his radio gal? Margot Bingham will be bringing Stephanie to our screens, and I cannot wait to finally meet her. Let’s hope she is a good person in the, what is so far appearing to be bad, Commonwealth.

2. What do the Reapers want?

These guys do not look like they should be messed with and appear to be very scary and a major threat. We have seen them hanging walkers up to trees and wearing some pretty freaky masks from the teasers. I am not sure of their agenda, but we have already seen that they are very dangerous and have ruined the lives of a lot of Maggie’s (Lauren Cohan) group, the Wardens. I am praying they leave our favorites alone, but if TWD has taught us anything, no one is safe, and they will have to fight for what is right.

1. Will we see any familiar faces?

The greatest wonder of them all. Will the creators tease a possible return of Michonne, Rick, Jadis, Heath, or any crossovers from other parts of TWDU? They could leave a slight hint, but I am almost certain it won’t be much more than that. The thing I do know – this panel is going to be spectacular!

It is almost impossible to predict what will happen in Part 1 of Season 11 of TWD’s return, but it is sure to be one hell of a ride! San Diego Comic-Con at Home will take place Saturday, July 24, with TWDU panels throughout the day. The Walking Dead panel will go live at 3 pm PST, 6 pm EST, and 11 pm for the UK.

Next. TWD: The evolution of Eugene and his hair. dark

I cannot wait to see the panel and what it has in store! The Walking Dead returns for Season 11 on AMC August 22, Star on Disney Plus August 23 for UK Viewers. AMC+ subscribers will be able to stream the premiere episode on August 15.
