The Walking Dead universe draws fans in with its unique storytelling and lovable characters. Many of these shows have opened up new plot lines to discover that have left fans with many questions. Over the years, different shows within The Walking Dead universe have answered some of these questions. However, fans are still scratching their heads and wondering where the solution to the rest of these questions lies.
Fans have stopped at nothing to find out what could be the answer to some of these major plot lines. Diving deep into these shows has helped fans gain insight, but sometimes no amount of digging can help answer what is on all of our minds. Today we will be looking at some of these unanswered questions and discussing possible answers.

1. Could Jim predict the future?
In The Walking Dead season 1 episode 4, titled "Vatos," Jim is seen losing his mind in the heat while he digs various holes in the ground. The group is concerned for his health because he had been out in the heat for so long and he won't give a reason for digging the holes. Since Jim seems to be struggling to think in the heat, Shane Walsh decides to detain him and give him some water. Once Jim settles down, he admits that he had sunstroke and doesn't remember why he was digging. He says the reason was connected to a dream he had, but he barely remembers the dream.
Later that night, a group of walkers attacks the camp and many group members end up dead. After this, Jim remembers his dream and why he dug the holes in the ground. The holes were graves for the bodies that wound up dead.
For years, fans have wondered if Jim predicted the future because of this dream vision he received. Jim could have had a dream like this because of the fear of losing others, like he lost his family. He might have dug the graves because it was inevitable to lose people in a world like this.
Our question was never answered, but the writers did a great job with foreshadowing in this episode for Jim. From the graves, to Jim being tied to a tree, when later in the season he would be left sitting against a tree to die from a walker bite. Jim even warned Lori to keep Carl close, and in future episodes we would see Carl always out of arm's reach.

2. Why did the French create the Wildfire virus?
At the beginning of The Walking Dead, Dr. Jenner hinted that the French may have had something to do with the start of the Wildfire virus. He states that the French were the last ones that remained standing against the Wildfire virus. Then in The Walking Dead: World Beyond, season 2 episode 10, titled "The Last Light," we find out that the la Biomédicine lab in France was where the Wildfire virus first originated.
This being said, the Wildfire virus is claimed to have been created by the French. However, we never find out exactly why the virus was created. It is seen that the French were desperately trying to find a way to stop the virus as soon as it was created, but we don't know whether or not the creation of the virus was accidental or if it was intentional, and someone accidentally let the virus escape into the world.

3. What happened to Heath after Jadis traded him?
During season 7 episode 6 of The Walking Dead, Tara and Heath get separated while out on a two-week-long run. Tara washes up on the shore where she meets the Oceanside group, and after she makes her way back to the bridge where she was separated from Heath, she finds he's missing. All that is found of Heath is his crushed glasses, tire marks in the dirt, and a card with the letters "PPP" written on it. After this, Heath was never heard of again and fans went crazy trying to figure out what happened to him.
Thankfully, The Walking Dead showrunner and producer, Angela Kang, cleared up the Heath mystery to fans.
During an interview with Business Insider, Kang confirmed that Heath had been taken by Jadis and traded to the CRM for supplies. However, the question of what happened to him after he was traded continues to be unanswered. We also never find out what the letters "PPP" mean. These letters show up again in Tales of the Walking Dead, but we are still unaware of their meaning. Fans have been left to wonder if Heath could have been subject to work for the CRM like Rick Grimes or if he could have been subject to experimentation like other unfortunate survivors had been.

4. Is Alicia Clark immune from the Wildfire virus?
In season 7 episode 8 of Fear the Walking Dead, Alicia Clark is bitten in the arm by a walker. Alicia doesn't cut her arm off right away, which causes her concern. Alicia gets a fever after cutting her arm off and is fearful that she may be slowly dying from the Wildfire virus. This fever could have been anything from the walker bite to the amputation, or it could have been from the fact that she cut her arm off in a sewage pipe with an unsterile, sharpened barrel shroud.
Due to the bombs that dropped in the area, Alicia has also been exposed to radiation. This radiation is said to have helped cure her of the infection she had been fighting off for so long. However, the writers of the show never address whether she was immune to the Wildfire virus or if the infection was caused by something other than the walker bite. Alicia Clark survived impossible circumstances, making fans believe she could be immune to the Wildfire virus.

5. Is Laurent Carriere immune from the Wildfire virus?
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the second show in The Walking Dead universe, besides Fear the Walking Dead, to explore the idea of immunity in an individual.
Laurent Carriere was born after his mother had been bitten by a walker and turned. After his birth, the religious community surrounding Laurent treated him as a gift from God. They have done everything they can to protect him, which raises fans' questions on whether or not his character will have a major important role in the series.
As The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon enters into the stages of its last two seasons, fans are left questioning whether or not the show will reveal a potential immunity from the Wildfire virus with Laurent's character.
