The Walking Dead universe news (July 15, 2022)
By Renee Hansen
There is a lot of news happening within The Walking Dead universe. There will be no new episodes airing this week, but there is a lot of information regarding TWDU actors, and in one month, Tales of the Walking Dead will premiere on AMC.
AMC released another teaser for Tales of the Walking Dead that will release Sunday, August 14. This was a surprise as Tales of TWD has a panel at next week’s Comic Con, where a full-length trailer is expected to release. Cast members Terry Crews, Samantha Morton, and Danny Ramirez have been announced for the panel, with others pending.
The Walking Dead will also have a panel at Comic Con 2022, the last one for the flagship series. Cast members who will be in attendance include Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Seth Gilliam, Josh McDermitt, Michael James Shaw, Cailey Fleming and Lauren Ridloff.
Fans were disappointed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan won’t be there, but news has spread that filming for Isle of the Dead has begun, explaining their absence. Let’s hope there are some announcements regarding this series during the event.
We’ve been reporting on the status of the walls at Alexandria, located in Senoia, Georgia, and on July 11, the walls began to be dismantled.
